Burj Al Arab Hotel, a visit card of the Dubai Emirate, is located between two 5-star hotels and attracts people from all over the world. It is impossible to visit Dubai and not to watch Burj Al Arab! Burj Al Arab tower soares 321 meters above the famous Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Wild Wadi water park. The unique building stands on a man-made island some 280 meters offshore, linked to the mainland by a causeway.

Accommodation
The hotel stands 28 double storeys high, providing 202 duplex suites. All suites have beautiful views of the gulf and are equipped with the latest technology, laptop computers and Internet access. Topping all other suites there are 2 Royal suites spread over the 25th floor. These suites offer matchless peaks of luxury including a private elevator, private cinema, rotating beds, and Arabic meeting room.

Al Mahara
Meaning the shell's oyster. Is accessible by a 3-minute virtual submarine voyage and a magnificent circular aquarium visible throughout the restaurant.

The restaurant is reached by an express panoramic lift travelling 6 meters per second, It offers a refind setting with scenic windows over the Arabian coastline and The Palm.

It is a Royal Dining Hall with impressive decor in red and black colors, reminiscent of a royal meeting place from bygone days.

it is located on the base of the world's tallest atrium with a 12-metre water column leaping skywards. Warm and welcoming tones, mosaic and marble flooring and torch lighting make a beautiful backdrop.

Skyview Bar
This stylish bar is located next to Al Muntaha restaurant. It is a wonderful place for pre and post drinks that are served in luxury and comfortable atmosphere.

Note: The Al Muntaha restaurant at the hotel will be undergoing some refurbishment this summer with work on going from 25 June to 01 July 2006. The restaurant will be closed at the time. The other hotel restaurants shall be offering lunch and dinner service at Al Mahara, Al Iwan and Bab Al Yam during this period.

Sports & Leisure
Assawan, Spa and Health club, is a fully equipped private health and fitness club.

Conferences & Banquets
The Hotel offers a grand ballroom for up to 1,200 persons. For the smaller occasions, the hotel offers a variety of rooms for seminars, conferences, and meetings.


Note: The hotel has informed that the project for the refurbishment of the Granite Situated around the Fountain in front of the entrance of the hotel has commenced and will be completed by 29th July 2006. They hotel will not be able to accommodate any transfers via Coaches or Stretch Limousines in the driveway area due to space restrictions. Incase of any coach or Stretch Limousine transfers, they need to stop at the Wild Wadi drop area and then the clients will be transported across the bridge by buggies. The Buggies will be parked at the welcome centre of the hotel to transfer the clients. The Hotel apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Impressions: Hi, I have been a fairly frequent visitor to Dubai and the Burj Al Arab Hotel have been where I preferred to stay, for lots of reasons. But, in about a week, I'm going to stay at Jebel Ali Hotel.
